Phoebe Boddy

Phoebe Boddy
(b. 1995, UK)
Lives and works in London

Phoebe Boddy is a London-based emerging artist. Her abstract, figurative, expressionist paintings focus on the mundane, weaving exhilarating compositions that celebrate the everyday. Whether it is a painting of a fruit stand from the market or a bathtub scene, Boddy amplifies the beauty in everyday life through her energized brushstrokes, infused with bold outlines and vibrant colors while often adding a sprinkle of humor through witty text written on the canvas.

Phoebe has a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Loughborough University and has exhibited throughout the UK and featured in the likes of FAD Magazine, Art Rabbit, Art Plugged, and Sheer Luxe, just to name a few. In 2021, she was selected as a nominee for the Kate Bryan Art Prize and was also the winner of the Mall Galleries Figurative Art Now open call, which she exhibited there in 2022. Boddy won the 2023 Delphian Open Call Exhibition and exhibited with them in London and France during the summer.
