The Nomad Salon is an online platform for discovering contemporary art and sourcing artwork. I offer advisory services to help you find and buy art while sharing articles on emerging artists, the art market, and collecting. Through exclusive interviews and features, The Nomad Salon brings transparency and insight into the art world.
Founder
I’m Yesenia Muñoz, also known as Jenny—an Art Historian, writer, and the founder of The Nomad Salon, an independent art advisory based in London. Originally from California, my background in Fine Art and Finance allows me to help people navigate the art world, whether through sourcing artwork or sharing insights on collecting and the art market.
Before launching The Nomad Salon, I worked as a financial analyst at a wealth management firm in San Francisco. My passion for art led me to travel extensively, visiting artist studios and building a global network of artists and dealers. This journey ultimately brought me to London, where I earned a Master’s degree in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from San Francisco State University, along with professional training in Art Advisory from One Art Nation.
At The Nomad Salon, I focus on sourcing contemporary art and sharing knowledge through interviews, features, and market insights. My goal is to make the art world more transparent and accessible, helping collectors and enthusiasts discover exceptional emerging artists.
If you're interested in what I write outside of art, follow me on Substack – Existential Nomad, where every Saturday, I share a curated dose of lifestyle, wellness, travel, and vintage & antique musings to inspire you to slow down, savor, and romanticize the everyday.
